Members of the community of Kumbur Payam in Heiban County of Nuba Mountains on Wednesday started receiving slabs for covering their pit latrines.
The Program Supervisor Lina Iddriss said they gave slabs to some members, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
She called on other beneficiaries who participated in a health workshop last March to come and take theirs.
Ms Iddris said they have slabs for 200 families in Kumbur Payam.
The Supervisor said materials are important for the community because latrines can prevent diseases from infecting people.
