Judges cancel strike after intervention from presidency

The Judges of Courts of Appeal, High and County Courts have stopped their open strike after an intervention from the presidency.
 
Justice Malek Matiang Malek says they lift the strike in the interest of justice delivery.
 
He calls on other colleagues in the country to resume their normal duties.
 
Khalid Mohammed Abdalla, the Chairperson of Justices and Judges Committee in Juba says some of their demands including transport allowances have been fulfilled.
 
He hopes the other remaining demands which are administrative in nature will be tackled by the judiciary in due course.
