Yei leaders resound appeal for real peace in South Sudan

More than 30 local leaders in Yei are re-echoing their appeal to the Transitional Government to commit to bring real peace to the nation.
 
The call came in a public dialogue organized by Institute for Promotion of Civil Society, Radio Easter reports.
 
The dialogue focuses on transitional justice, accountability, reconciliation and healing.
 
The local leaders unanimously decry prevailing insecurity and high inflation that threaten the survival of ordinary citizens.
 
Meanwhile, Sebit Emmanuel, the Program Development Manager of IPCS says more dialogues are underway to equip the citizens with knowledge about the peace agreement.
 
He says the dialogue aims at enabling local leaders encourage citizens to embrace peace and reconciliation.
 
The leaders were drawn from Yei Municipality.
