Unknown gunmen kidnapped Journalist Albino Andrea from his house at Jebel Kheir residential area in Wau at 3:00 AM on Wednesday.
Radio Voice of Hope quoted Albino’s father Andrea Njovi, as saying six armed men broke to my house on Wednesday early morning and took my son Albino to unknown location.
Albino Andrea is a cameraman in the office of former Governor of Western Bahr El Ghazal State Riziq Zachariah Hassan since 2012 and now Governor of Lol State.
His arrived Wau last Saturday after last week’s attack on Raja.
Alor Deng Kur, Chairperson of Union of Journalists Wau Branch, urges the kidnapers to release the journalist as soon as possible.
He calls for the protection of journalists, not kidnapping.
The Family of the kidnapped Journalist has opened a police case.
Meanwhile unknown group threatened another Journalist, Joseph Gabriel Mali, in a telephone call.
