The citizens in Yangiri Payam of Ezo County are facing numerous challenges in the area, says a Catholic Priest.
 
Fr Luka Yugue, Parish priest of St Luke the Evangelist says citizens now in Yangiri are facing challenges including lack of clean drinking water and inadequate medicines in the health centres, Radio Anisa reports.
 
He reveals that teachers are not teaching, demanding for their unpaid three months salaries.
 
Christians of Yangiri, the government and NGOs should work together to realize holistic development in the area, says Fr Yugue.
 
He notes that there is only one borehole in Yangiri Payam for the whole population in the area.
 
It is difficult for women and small children meet their urgent needs, he adds.
 
Earlier, citizens in Yangiri complained that with the economic situation life is becoming hard.
