The Commissioner of Mvolo in Amadi State is appealing to the national and international humanitarian organizations to supply food items to the vulnerable population in his County.
James Abdallah Arona observes that the current economic crisis in South Sudan now is badly affecting citizens, Radio Anisa reports.
It is hard for the citizens to survive because there are no local or imported food commodities in the markets, he regrets.
Mvolo County local traders have abandoned the market due to the high rate of hard currency, he notes.
There are only few foreign business persons now operating in the area, he adds.
The Commissioner calls on the state and national government to intervene and rescue the situation because citizens are in desperate needs.
