Nzara County Commissioner is pleading to teachers to return to schools and continue giving lessons to children.
Elia Richard Box confirms that it is over a month now the government schools in county are not operational, Radio Anisa reports.
He urges teachers to be committed in their profession.
William Joseph Gbemboyo, a teacher at Nakpazigi Primary School in Nzara County, says they spent three months without receiving their salaries.
He complains that they are not able to stand in front of pupils with dirty clothes.
Teacher William cautions that if the government is not responding to their demands, they will not teach children.
He regrets that it is challenging to address the current economic crisis as he receives only three hundred pounds as his salaries monthly.
If teachers are not paid and children are not learning at schools, South Sudan future will be dark, he warns.
