The government has failed to provide office equipments and transport means, prompting strike, says the judges’ spokesperson.

Judge Geri Raymondo Legge says their offices lack sheets of paper, pens among others to do the work, Radio Bakhita reports.

He adds that the issue of salary arrears is not the major reason for the strike.

Last week, the judges gave 14 demands to the administration of the Judiciary of South Sudan before they could call off the strike.

Among the demands are salaries and allowances.
