Illiteracy is contributing negatively to peace building in the community, says the Principal of Bishop Abangite College of Science and Technology.
Fr Joseph Migidi says his administration wants to eradicate the inability to read and write by providing more schools and trained teachers, Radio Anisa reports.
When people are not knowledgeable they continue to be destructive to the community, Fr Migidi observes.
He says they have made a favourable environment for children to become knowledgeable and live in peace.
