Civil Society organization trains 25 activists in Yambio

At least twenty- five civil society activists are undergoing training in Yambio.
 
The three-day training draws participants from Nzara and Yambio Counties, Radio Anisa reports.
 
Jame David Kolok, Organization Executive Director says the purpose is to equip civil society activists with the best skills.
 
The training also focuses on how to mobilize communities and invites local leaders to interact among themselves, he explains.
 
David says the overall idea of the training is to bring the government closer to the people.
 
He adds that the program will update citizens on the peace process and progress made by the Transitional Government of National Unity.
 
Moses Samson, one of the participants, says he has learnt a lot of things such as how to work with the community.
 
Another participant, Grace William Bakata appreciates the workshop and that the knowledge will help the community.
 
The training is organized by Foundation for Democracy and Accountable Governance or FODAK
