Yei River State Security Advisor says the number of the conflict displaced persons in Kajo-Keji County is hitting 8,600.
Muki Batali Buli says the conflict has caused a sad situation of humanitarian crisis with majority of the victims being children.
He says a state delegation of which he is part has visited the displaced persons seeking shelters in churches.
The displaced lack food, shelter, bedding and clothing, Batali says.
The visiting delegation resolves that the displaced persons should return to their homes.
Kajo-Keji County Press Secretary, Derrick Derickson says the government believes that it has enough protection force for civilians to resettle.
He also admits that there have been complaints from the civil population about bad relationship with the army.
Derrickson says the plight was addressed in a security meeting on Wednesday in Kajo-Keji.
But, the State Security Advisor argues that the relationship between the army and the civilians in Kajo-Keji has been good.
CRN could not contact the area army commander for comment over their relationship with civilians.
