Bishops and Apostolic Administrators report rampant insecurity in many parts of their dioceses countrywide.
 
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe of Yei says the situation is still tense in the whole Diocese and SPLA soldiers are not good to civilians.
 
The Diocese of Yei stretches from Kajo-Keji in the former Central Equatoria to Mundri in the former Western Equatoria State.
 
Coordinator of the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek, Fr John Mathiang said ‘the general situation is very hard’ with continuous killing by unknown gunmen in the whole town.
 
He also report that hunger is affecting people, food is expensive and strong people that take the hunger situation to loot the weak ones at a gunpoint.
 
Malakal Diocese Apostolic Administrator Monsignor Roko Taban reports controversy over the ownership of Malakal town between two tribes.
 
He calls on the Council of States to intervene in resolving the disagreement for people to return home.
