Thirty-eight people were trained on liturgical Sunday readings according to the Catholic Church Doctrine.
The readers attended two-day training at St Mary’s Yambio Catholic Parish, Radio Anisa reported.
Deputy Chairperson of Liturgy Angelo Atoroba Dabira says the training was based on how readers proclaim the Gospel in the Church.
Reading in the church is a proclamation of the Lord which needs good preparation and attention to read to the congregation, he reveals.
Participants’ representative, Samuel Kondo reveals that he learnt new things that he did not know before.
