Schools and health facilities in Naandi County of Gbudwe State are not operating at the moment, reveals Sts Peter and Paul, Naandi Catholic Parish Priest.

Fr Justin Gizaza says the schools in the area were opened but learners are not studying since the beginning of this year, Radio Anisa reports.

There is need to support the schools in Naandi for the children to do well in their education, he appeals.

Five people have died because of lack of medicine in the health facilities, Fr Gizaza discloses.

He says the Church will continue to pray for the situation to improve.

Fr Gizaza calls upon the government, non-governmental organizations and well-wishers to intervene to rescue the situation of education and health sectors in Naandi.

Naandi is one of the newly counties created by Gbudwe State Governor Patrick Raphael Zamoi last month.
