The Department of HIV and AIDS of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio has opened its centre in Nadiangere area of Yambio.
David Miamangawa, the Field Officer says the centre is meant to help people living with HIV and AIDS virus to access health services, Radio Anisa reports.
75 people living with the virus have joined the group recently, the official says.
He adds that the centre will help in coordinating activities with the Head Office of Tombura-Yambio Diocese.
He calls on everyone to surrender for HIV and AIDS Voluntary Counselling and Testing.
The Western Equatoria region is reportedly the hardest hit area with HIV and AIDS scourge.
