Centre for Democracy in South Sudan official in Yei calls on the people of the young country to value any kind of work at this critical time.

Hakim James acknowledges that unemployment is high among the young people in South Sudan, Radio Easter reported.

He noticed that some educated young people intentionally make themselves unemployed in search for better paying jobs.

James was responding to complaints raised by women and youth during a peace sensitization forum on Wednesday.

The official urges those with enough money to open up incoming generating activities to create more employment opportunities.

He also advises the people of Yei to ensure that the children go school.
