Heiban Community receives vegetable seeds for summer plantation

The community of Kumbur Payam in Heiban County of Nuba Mountains is receiving eight different types of vegetable seeds for this season plantation.
 
Kumbur chairperson Jibril Musa called on the people to plant the vegetables to produce more food for consumption and surplus for the market, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
 
He said the seeds will only be given to those who are able to plant.
 
The head of the Payam explained that they distributed seeds including okra, Tomatoes, onions, egg plant and beans among others.
 
He encouraged framers to respond as soon as possible in order to produce different food items.
