Teachers in Yei are calling on the parents to cooperate with the school administrations to get rid of indecent dressing of learners.

The call comes after education stakeholders met on Monday marking the beginning of second term in Yei, Radio Easter reports.

The head teacher of Nile High Senior Secondary School, Yeko Henry says the best way to tackle the code of dressing in school is to work together with the parents.

Some learners reportedly move with clothes in their bags and change while returning home, he observes.

Parents’ failure to control dressing of children at home will make them very undermining, says Sebit Martin, head teacher of Yei Public Boarding Senior Secondary School.

Defending their part, parents demand school administrations to ensure that learners are given the same size of uniform.

They also blame some schools for being reluctant to regulate dressing of learners.
