The World Bank is working on strategies to support South Sudan in the next two years, says Country Manager.
Sahr John Kpundeh says the strategies will focus mainly on basic services provision and social protection to vulnerable households, Radio Bakhita reports.
He was talking on Wednesday when the National Audit Chamber was launching audit manual and strategies for the Local Government.
Auditor General Steven Kilion Wondu said the manual and strategies will strengthen the capacity of the Local Government and the Chamber.
He adds that the manual will assist the Chamber to produce credible reports.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Local Government Board, Clement Khamis, urges donors to support them in auditing.
