Enough Project calls for the need to bring to justice the leaders responsible for the 2013 crisis in South Sudan.
Project Director John Prendergast in his statement recommends US to impose sanctions on senior officials of the conflict in order to pressure them to place the well-being of their people ahead of personal interest.
Enough Project says addressing root causes will require much greater international influence to support peace and human rights in South Sudan.
Sanctions, anti-money laundering measures, prosecutions, asset seizure and forfeiture, are key instruments in securing foreign policy goals, it said.
