Cattle are still grazing in some parts of the county, confirms Commissioner of Kajo-Keji in Yei River State.

Julius Lokonga tells Radio Easter that cattle keepers are still grazing their cows in the northern parts of Nyepo and Liwolo Payams.

He says no conflict case have been reported between cattle keepers and the farming communities.

Radio Easter efforts to reach, the committee that was formed to strategize on the peaceful relocation of the cattle to their native areas failed.

Meanwhile, Commissioner Lokonga hopes the committee is working hard to resolve the matter to avoid cattle from destroying the crops.

The state government earlier said about 300 thousand cattle occupied many parts of Lainya, Kajo-Keji and some areas in Morobo.
