The Ministry of Education in Yei River State on Thursday elected what it calls ‘competent educationists’ to lead the state Examinations Council.
Thirteen educationists from all counties of the state were ‘freely and fairly’ elected to the Council, Radio Easter reports.
The role of the council is to run exams by setting, printing, marking and processing certificates for the whole state, says Amule Felix, Director-General in the ministry.
He calls for support of all stake holders in different kinds.
The officials in the Council are expected to be sworn in as soon as resources are mobilized, says Felix.
