Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan or ECSSS Education and Training Organization is conducting house to house rehabilitation for children with disabilities in Yei, Lainya and Morobo Counties.
The Organization is implementing community based project in Yei River State and assesses number of children with disability in various schools, Radio Easter reports.
The projects is to promote children with disabilities to access the same quality of education and support home base learning with silent language, says Juma James Moses, the Field Supervisor in Yei River County.
He adds that the organization enroll 102 learners with disabilities within schools in Yei River County.
Flora Khamisa Cosmas, a teacher in Ronyi Primary School, says they are paying attention to children with special needs to be equal with the able people.
She is asking for more training on skills to manage children with disabilities.
Flora asks parents with disable children to send them to school to learn.
Charity Poni, a primary pupil, who joined education this year, says when the organization was taking disable children to school, people were intimidating them.
They say what will be the benefit of the educated disable children, she adds.
ECSSS Education and Training Organization work in collaboration with other partners in Yei River State.
