A workshop for leadership and capability building is taking place at Hakima Institute in the Nuba Mountains.
The training brought together participants from all the counties of the region, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
Director for Administration Assir Hassan Kuku says the workshop is covering a number of courses and helps leaders to strengthen their roles at their various areas.
He adds that there are 30 people attending the current workshop with representatives from various secretariats in the region.
The director says the trainings aims to build a strong community in the future.
The training is part of authorities’ initiative to build political cadres in the region raise generation capable of taking informed decisions.
