At least twenty-two youth from the Catholic Dioceses of South Sudan and Sudan are expected to travel to Poland in July to participate in the World Youth Day.
Fr James William Silgat, Deputy Secretary-General of Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference, asks each diocese to send two representatives.
The World Youth Day helps the young people to learn how to pray and meditate the work of God, Fr William explains.
The Deputy Secretary-General advises all the Catholic Dioceses to assist the youth with some pocket money.
World Youth Day is celebrated after every three years and Pope announces the country for the next celebration.
