Radio Easter Director denies having an interview with Radio Tamazuj following his interrogation with the National Security over a report of alleged extrajudicial killing in Kajo-Keji County.

Radio Tamazuj published the report on its website claiming to have interviewed the Director last week, radio Easter reports.

Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit on Sunday, told worshippers at Christ the King Cathedral that he had never been called by a journalist of Radio Tamazuj.

He admits that he was called by security personnel to explain about the report.

Fr Lodongo asks God to forgive the journalist who claimed to have interviewed him, urging the Radio Tamazuj to correct the information about the direct comments.

The director calls on journalists to get information directly from the sources and avoid forging comments.

On Thursday, the National Security took the director for interrogation in their office over the news aired last Wednesday evening.

He adds that they have resolved the issue and the radio continues its broadcast service.

The National Security also inquired a report aired by the radio three weeks ago about the need to notify family members on detention place of their loved ones.

The radio quoted the State Physical Infrastructure Minister who said the rule of law on arrest should be followed.

The minister and the radio did not mention about a number of people unlawfully arrested and detained.
