Dr Machar’s presence in Juba means end of war, government declares

The presence of First Vice President, Dr Riek Machar signifies the end of the war and beginning of reconciliation, forgiveness and healing in South Sudan, says a government representative.
 
Akol Paul Kordit believes that it is through determination of all leaders in the implementation of the peace agreement that challenges can be overcome.
 
He says it is time to divorce hatred, bitterness and spirit of retaliation.

He says there is need to unite all the people together for national healing and reconciliation.
 
There will be challenges in the implementation of the agreement, but as long as there is political will, all the obstacles can be overcome, Dr Machar reiterates.
 
He appreciates the government for committing to the implementation of the peace deal.
