The Association of European Parliamentarians with Africa or AWEPA trains County Legislative Councillors in Yambio to improve their performances.
Daniel Mathew Waure, the Director of Training in the State Ministry of Local Government expects the Councillors to perform better after the training as Radio Anisa reports.
Some challenges including insecurity made it difficult for other councillors to attend the training, the official regrets.
Anthony Jacob Yabira on behalf of the participants cites ethics, integrity, human rights and financial management as new skills obtained from the training.
Jacob says they are hopeful that by the end of the training they will be able to transform lives in their counties.
The training will last for two weeks in Yambio.
