SPLM/A-In-Opposition team in Juba has again announced cancellation of the return of Dr Riek Machar to the capital city.
The postponement of Dr Machar’s return is due to logistical problem, William Ezekiel Kujo Deng, the Opposition Undersecretary for Information and Public Relations tells journalists.
There is also another demand by South Sudan authorities that the flight of the Opposition General Chief of Staff, Simon Gatwech Dual must obtain clearance to use the country’s air space, Ezekiel explains.
He says it is a precondition that the General Chief of Staff lands in Juba before Dr Machar touches down at Juba International Airport.
The opposition team in Juba and the government are negotiating on the way forward after the deadlock on air space clearance.
