14 years’ imprisonment for rapist not enough, says women activist

The chairlady of Yei Women Association says the 14 years’ imprisonment for the 35-year old man rapist of one and half year old baby is not enough punishment.
 
Nadia Roseline says that the rapist should not be allowed to live in the community again, Radio Bakhita reports.
 
Roseline warns that if any man is caught again raping, her association will advocate for life imprisonment.
 
She also calls on the parents to take care of baby girls to avoid similar occurrence.
 
Roseline advises that kids should be given care by right people to avoid such messes.
 
The 35-year-old South Sudanese raped the baby girl in February was sentenced to 14 years’ imprisonment last Friday in Yei High Court.
