A multi-tribal wrestling competition has started in Juba this Saturday.
Four states of Imatong, Terekeka, Jonglei and Eastern Lakes are participating in the games, Radio Bakhita reports.
Peter Biar Ajak, the Chief Executive of South Sudan Wrestling Entertainment says the wrestling activity aims at promoting peace and unity among South Sudanese youth.
In the opening game, Jonglei won 10-1 and 4 draws against Terekeka State.
Luka Israel hails the game although his team has lost to Jonglei State.
Luka says more sports’ activities should be organized to unite the people of South Sudan.
The organizers say the wrestling is meant to encourage peace, forgiveness and reconciliation among South Sudanese.
