Caritas Yei has trained local farmers in Tore Payam of Yei River County to increase agricultural production.
Soro Steward, the Field Officer of Caritas Yei, Agricultural Department says they are training seven farmers on seeds planting, Radio Easter reports.
One of the local farmers Michael Hakim from Baka Boma appreciates Caritas for the training.
He expects more similar training in future.
Hakim says he has acquired knowledge on planting and the importance of agriculture.
Tore Payam, located west of Yei town on Maridi road is one of the most fertile farmlands in South Sudan.
