Police authorities in Yei confirmed the arrest of a suspect linked to the brutal killing of the boda-boda rider on Easter Sunday.
The suspect was arrested at TTC residential area on Tuesday, says Colonel Jeremiah Maker Nai, Inspector of Police in Yei, Radio Easter reports.
The Inspector in Arabic says the suspect is under police investigation before handing him over to the court for trial.
Benson Khamis Soro, Community Empowerment for Rehabilitation and Development human rights officer strongly condemns the recurring murders of riders.
He calls on the public to respect human life.
Benson stresses for proper investigation and justice to perpetrators.
Fellow Boda-boda riders say the brutal murder against colleagues is posing fear for them to do their work.
