Royal sports betting company sponsors Fly United

Royal sports betting company has agreed to sponsor Fly Sports United Football Club in Yei for three years.
 
Fly sports United FC, founded since 2004 won the Yei Local Premier League in 2007, Radio Easter reports.
 
It also won Christmas league trophies in 2007, 2008 and 2010.
 
Managing Director of Royal sports betting company, Alex Lomuja says the sponsorship is a social responsibility of the company in giving back services to the community from marginal profits earned.
 
Aligo Moses, Fly United Club’s Acting Chairman hails the company for solving their problems.
 
He says the club has been surviving through local contribution of players and officials.
 
Yei Local Football Association head, John James Wani says most clubs in Yei lack playground and sponsors.
 
Meanwhile, Yei River State Minister of Sports, Stephen Lado Onesimo urges sports’ clubs to build up strongly to attract sponsorship by companies.
 
He challenges financial institutions such banks to help sponsor sports’ clubs as part of their social responsibility.
 
Minister Lado believes investing in sports’ activities prevents the youth from engaging in criminal activities.
