The South Sudan Council of Churches in its Easter Message of hope expresses serious concern about deteriorating economy nearing collapse.
The Council fears that insecurity may increase as civil servants, police and army demand pay rise and prompt payments.
Be honest to declare inability in addressing the economic crisis, the Council of Churches urges the government.
The Council also calls on the government to ask for foreign assistance after declaring its inability to fix the economy.
