Tribal confrontations among the communities of Tonj State again erupted on Saturday and Sunday, confirms Minister for Information.
Madit Malek Akuien says youth are practicing arm robbery and cattle raiding resulting to a continuous fighting in the state, Radio Don Bosco reports.
He mentions few forces to keep the security in the state as a challenge to the government.
Malek adds that the government is working hard to settle insecurity as its first priority in the state.
The official says the number of casualties remained unclear and that those causing insecurity would be brought to book.
Tonj State government spokesperson made the comments on Monday.
