Juba City Council warns residents against cholera outbreak during the rainy season.
Deputy Mayor David Loro Hillary on Tuesday said Juba is expecting heavy rains in the coming months, urging residents to residential areas clean, Radio Bakhita reported.
Avoid uncontrolled dumping of garbage to reduce the risk of diseases outbreak, he tells the residents.
The Deputy Mayor urged both citizens and foreign nationals to look at Juba City as their home and keep its surrounding clean.
South Sudan suffered back-to back cholera outbreaks in the past two years.
There were over 6,000 cases including 167 deaths recorded in 2014.
Over 1,000 cases including 46 deaths were reported last year.
