The national Council of Ministers on Friday approved a draft supplementary budget to be presented to parliament by the Finance Minister in coming days.
The budget proposal tunes to more than two million South Sudanese Pounds meant for unclassified civil servants, says Selwa Gabriel Berberi, the Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs.
The salary increment also covers national government staff working at state levels including teachers and doctors, she explains.
The Deputy Minister was briefing journalists on Friday in Juba after regular cabinet sitting.
