Inter-faith based council has initiated 20 days radio peace messages in Yambio in the Western Equatoria region.
The messages focus on God’s blessings to suffering people of South Sudan, Radio Anisa reports.
One of the peace messages says:
‘False accusations, pointing fingers at people, bad language and killing are completely opposed to what can bring about peace. So take the road of peace now’.
The council document also indicates considerable problems including violent forms of extremism, civil war on ethnicity, community and political grounds in South Sudan.
The Inter-faith based council calls for total tranquillity in Western Equatoria especially in Yambio, Ezo, Source Yubu, Maridi and Mundri.
