Yei cabinet holds first meeting on start of work

Yei River State Governor, David Lokonga Moses, on Monday held first meeting with his deputy, advisor, ministers and director generals as to how they will start work.
 
The assembly will form specialized committees to boost work relation with the executives, Stephen Lodu Onesimo, State government spokesperson told journalists, Radio Easter reports.
 
Minister Lodu added that the cabinet will also have three-day workshop to prepare the action plan for the start of the state.
 
The cabinet formed a committee to prepare establishment budget, identify sources of revenues and put up an office for operation, he added.
 
The committee was given seven days to come up with the requirements, the Minister added.
 
Lodu noted that Governor Lokonga encouraged the cabinet to work hard, rent houses or build in Yei to plan well and be near their people.
 
Minister Lodu appreciated the people of Yei River State for welcoming the new government.
 
He appealed to the local community to work with the government so that enough land is availed to build the state structures.
