Yei Catholic Diocese resolved to involve parish councillors to create awareness on Christians’ duty of paying the tenth tithes known as ‘Decima’.
The resolution was reached during the recently concluded Seventh Diocesan Annual Meeting, Radio Easter reports.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe says catechists and the religious have contributed more to success of the church in the diocese.
He appeals to Christians and leaders to render their service to the church.
The meeting also recommends the training of Catechists in local languages should be given top priority this year.
