Over a thousand Ugandans in Torit on Thursday did not participate in elections to choose a president and Members of the Parliament.
The Ugandans, declining to travel home to vote gave varied reasons including financial shortage, Radio Emmanuel reports.
Other Ugandans say they lost interest on elections due to vote rigging by the sitting leaders.
