KCB strike affects thousand of customers

The strike of over 300 hundreds South Sudan national staff of the Kenyan Commercial Bank across the country affected thousands of customers in Wau branch.
 
Peter Mayensays he could not withdraw any money from his account in order to pay for his tuition fee, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
 
The national staff strikes so that the bank increases their salaries to meet the fluctuating market caused by currency devaluation, says Paul Ajok Garang, chairman of the South Sudanese national staff in Juba.
 
He says the strike will continue until their demands are met.
 
Authorities at the Bank say they are aware of the demands of the staff and they management is working to address it.
