The regional Education Director of the Nuba Mountains is calling on all primary eight candidates to be ready for the coming final exams so as to perform better than last year.
Nicola Amdan Ibbra says the performance was poor in 2015 as few pupils passed, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
He blames the poor performance on lack of coaching.
The Director says there are only two secondary schools in the region which may not be able to admit all the students.
He says Education secretariat office is recommending some students to go and look for secondary school in other areas.
The Director encourages the students to take secondary education seriously.
He says there will be big changes next year.
