Radio Bakhita marks a decade in operation

Radio Bakhita, 91 FM on Monday today marks ten years of broadcasting service in the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba.
 
The occasion focuses on envisioning a real participatory, informed, reconciled and just society.
 
Auxiliary Bishop Santo Loku Pio graces the occasion.
 
The celebration of ten years in service has drawn many dignitaries including AMDISS Chairman, Alfred Taban, CEPO Executive Director, Edmund Yakani and government officials among others.
 
Director Yakani uses the occasion to call for freedom of the media in South Sudan.
 
He criticizes rampant crackdown of the press in the country.
 
The celebration takes place at St Joseph Parish.
