Do not cheat people; serve public interest not personal interest, a priest in Yei Catholic Diocese urges leaders in the country.

Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit says South Sudanese leaders should follow good examples of leadership shown in the Bible, Radio Easter reports.

He observes that when leaders put their personal interests first, they are not answering the call of God.

Fr Lodongo says all South Sudanese are sick due to imposed political and economic hardships.

He says all troubles of the country need continuous prayers.

The priest calls on the Christians to turn up for prayers on the World Day of the Sick on next Thursday.
