The European Union, EU Delegation to South Sudan and several other western ambassadors call for further review of the NGO Bill.
The National Legislative Assembly, this week passed the NGO Bill imposing restrictions on the number of foreign aid workers in the country.
But, the EU says the bill should be examined by public and the supposed Transitional Government of National Unity as stipulated in 2015 peace deal.
‘Restricting the work of NGOs could have a significant negative impact on the people of South Sudan’, the EU diplomats warn.
