THREE FREEZE TO DEATH INSIDE REFRIGERATOR IN PORT SUDAN

Three people in Port Sudan city froze to death in a refrigerating facility which charged 2 dollar per hour for sitting inside it.

The local media reported that a few local businessmen set up big refrigerators as cool-down facility for the Sudanese people who seek shelter from the heat.

The business men charge five Sudanese pounds, an equivalence of two dollar per hour for people who want to sit inside it. Medical officials in Port Sudan said at least 13 people suffered from heatstroke during the week. August is the hottest month of the year in northern Sudan, particularly in Port Sudan.
