Agriculture is a top priority to alleviate food shortage in some of our towns, says the new commissioner of Kajo-Keji County.

Julius Lokonga wants to see that his people start preparing their fields in February as the county is expecting rain soon.

He discloses that they will shortly receive tractors to be distributed to the organized agricultural cooperative societies to cultivate large farm lands.

Former Commissioner Henry Kala Sabuni says he will help his successor, Lokonga to coordinate with the donors.

He says UN Office for Projects will soon implement the agreement to open feeder roads in Kajo-Keji County to agricultural areas.
