Pope is blessing South Sudan and Sudan, reveals the Auxiliary Bishop of Archdiocese of Juba.
Bishop Santo Loku Pio upon return from Rome, Italy on Monday extended the blessings to the priests, religious, catechists and the people of God in the two countries, Radio Bakhita reports.
The Bishops also requested Vatican to post a resident Apostolic Nuncio in Juba to directly inform the Pope on issues affecting South Sudan, Bishop Loku reveals.
All the meetings went well and the Bishops have accomplished their mission in Rome, said the Auxiliary Bishop.
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro will return to Juba in the next few days, Bishop Loku disclosed.
Monsignor Thomas Oliha of Torit Diocese, SCBC Secretary-General Fr Jacob Odwa and Fr George Jangara of St Paul’s Major Seminary returned with the Bishops on Monday.
